PATRICIA CORREA (1960)

Artista multimedios, con grado en Bellas Artes (Bachellor of Fine Arts, 2009) y mención de honor de la escuela de artes de Washington D.C., Corcoran College of Art + Design. Después de ejercer durante 20 años la profesión de economía, en el 2003 comenzó un viaje de permanente exploración artística en diferentes medios. Ha realizado tres exposiciones individuales en Colombia y ha participado en más de 12 exposiciones colectivas, entre las cuales merecen especial mención: a)  Faces of the Fallen (2007) en el National Women’s Memorial Museum, en el cementerio de Arlington, Virginia- EEUU, para la cual se comisionaron retratos de más de 1000 soldados norteamericanos caídos en las guerras de Estados Unidos en Afghanistan e Irak; b) Postconceptualism (2009) en la galería Moderno, Washington D.C. –EEUU y c) All Senior Show (2009) en el Museo Corcoran en Washington D.C. EEUU.
